1. The main pipeline connection methods are:

①When DN≤63, use hot-melt socket connection or electric fusion connection;

② When DN≥75, it is better to use hot-melt butt or electric fuse connection;

③ The connection with metal pipes and pipeline accessories can adopt flange connection or transition pipe connection.

2. Hot-melt socket connection:

When connecting using this method, a hot melt welding machine is used. The specific steps are as follows:

① Check the surface quality of the pipe, the joints are clean and undamaged, the flat surface of the fracture surface is smooth without burrs.

② Measure the depth of the socket and make a mark on the surface of the pipe.

③ Use a special knife to treat the surface of the pipe connection part to ensure that the surrounding area is a new surface layer. The mouth should be chamfered. The groove should be 30 °, and the length of the surface groove should not be greater than 2.0mm.

④ Wipe dry surface of pipe socket surface to clean the surface.

⑤ Insert the pipes and fittings into the heater without rotation at the same time to heat the connection part.

⑥ Heat to a predetermined time, pull out the pipes and fittings, quickly and smoothly push the pipes into the socket of the pipe, and form a flange ring around the socket.

3. Hot melt butt

When connecting using this method, a hot-melt butt welder is used. The specific steps are as follows:

③ Put on the hot plate.

4.Fuse connection

The characteristics of the fused socket connection are convenient and fast connection, and small interference from external factors. It is economical to use in small diameter pipelines and difficult construction situations. The connection diagram is as follows:

① Clean the dirt on the pipe to be connected, and mark the depth of insertion.

② Scrape off its epidermis.

③ Put the fused pipe fitting on the pipe, and align the pipe on the same axis.

④ Welding with electricity, a little melt should be ejected in the hole to be observed.

⑤ Cooling and electrofusion are completed.

Note: When connecting, the selection of voltage and heating time during power-on heating should be in accordance with the regulations of the manufacturer of the fused connection equipment. Do not move or apply any external force on the connection while the fused connection is cooling.

5. Transition connection

At the interface connection with metal pipes and pipeline accessories (such as valves, water meters, etc.), transitional fittings such as screw threads or flanges are used for connection.
